I’m 2/3 of the way through the latest J.D. Robb book “Fantasy in Death” from the “In Death” series. This is a series I have loved for years. Eve, a NY Homicide detective set in the future (around the year 2060). It’s really good for those of you who enjoy a good detective story. The fact that it’s in the future adds fun elements too like cars that can fly, modernized fashion and beauty and tubes of Pepsi. It’s a great series.
We stopped at Chapters yesterday and I picked up four new books:
- Next by Michael Crichton
- State of Fear by Michael Crichton
- Dragonlance: Autumn Twilight (volume 1)
- The Bourne Deception (Robert Ludlum/Eric Van Lustbader)
Funny story – we went to pay and the young girl at the cash said “Oooh Michael Crichton – I’ve heard good things about him.” Hehehe I could probably tell her a lot more dating back 10-15 years like Jurassic Park and ER… hihi It was cute.
The Dragonlance series has been highly praised by my husband so I figured I’d give it a shot while I wait for the next book from George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice & Fire series…it’s been a painful wait.
