What could be more fitting than eating a traditional English meal while watching the London Olympic Games?
The name “bangers” is believed to come from sausages bursting or exploding in the pan with a bang if cooked too quickly; apparently this was more common with the way they made sausages back in the day and “modern” sausages don’t have this problem.

My husband said he would definitely eat this again. The potatoes were creamy had a nice amount of tang from the three different mustards in the recipe. I’m so glad they sell creme fraiche at my supermarket now.
