I’ve been meaning to make baked beans for ages and finally got around to it. I got the dried beans and soaked them overnight, then started cooking them Sunday morning in my dutch oven and they cooked for about 6-7 hours. They required very little effort. Once the beans are soaked, just add them with a few other ingredients and simmer. They were very tasty and the hint of maple syrup was great.
