I finally hit 50 recipes of the total 90 in my cooking challenge.
These are not your typical burgers. The patties contain Dijon mustard to give them a bit of zing. And the bun has mayo. The only other topping (and the star of the dish) are the caramelized onions piled on top of the patty. Very tasty.
When I told my husband what was for dinner, he was skeptical. He gave me “the look”. I just told him to trust in Ina.
Once he ate his first (of two!), he admitted to being very impressed. He was also glad I had made extra patties and onions for leftovers for his lunch tomorrow.
