I made the Campari Orange Spritzers yesterday – they were a bit bitter (due to the Campari) and the orange juice and San Pallegrino added sweetness and fizz. They were OK – I prefer my drinks more sweet than bitter but it was an interesting new flavour.
Tonight I made Coq au Vin which was realllly goooood. I’ll admit to being a bit nervous when Ina’s recipe called for Cognac, and then stand back and ignite it until all the alcohol burned off. lol I was nervous about setting my new dutch oven on fire but it turned out well!

We enjoyed it with a slice of pumpernickel bread. MmmMmm.
