Woohoo I finally made mussels and they were amazing! So proud. I enjoy mussels but it’s not something I usually order for myself, nor have I ever made them before. I was eager to give them a try. My husband and friend Nicki who was down for the weekend visiting agreed to be guinea pigs and I’m happy to report everyone went for seconds.
I served the mussels and broth over linguini. The broth was very fragrant: shallots, garlic, parsley, thyme, saffron, tomatoes, butter, olive oil, white wine. Very yummy.
The recipe is from the Barefoot in Paris and can be found here.
