This week I got to use several coupons I had in my stash. Made a quick trip to Walmart and our usual visit to Loblaws.
- Value of products: $58.78
- Paid out of pocket: $39.92
- Savings of: $18.86 (or 32%)
I used a $3 off coupon (came with toothbrush) on Oral B toothbrush heads.
Gain was on sale for $3.93. I bought 3 and got a FREE Febreeze Stick and Refresh (P&G coupon).
- Value of products: $ 205.81
- Paid out of pocket: $147.27
- Savings of: $58.54 (or 28%)
There was a PC Plus promotion running that earned you 20,000 for every $80 you spent. This trip, I earned 22,000. 🙂
Coupon for a FREE Old El Paso dinner kit (saved $4.99)
Coupon for $2 off salsa when you buy a bag of Tostitos chips
Coupon for $2 off an Activia 8pk yogurt (I decided to use my coupon this week since the regular size tub I usually buy wasn’t on sale :))
4 x Heinz beans on sale for $0.88 each (approx. savings of $2.50)
Coupon for $2 off Hershey chocolate nuggets
2 x Smart Ones on sale for $2.50 each
So far since I started this plan in January (using coupons and shopping sales), I’m ahead about $2,000 compared to last year at this time. Hopefully I’ll be able to save $4,000 by the end of the year! 🙂
