We’ve started our local adventure series (i.e. discover our city and its various surrounding neigborhoods and restaurants) by heading down to Port Credit (15 minutes away) and enjoyed a nice walk along Lake Ontario. They have great trails and park/picnic areas all along the lake near the marina. It was really beautiful.
Chris and I aren’t boat people – it’s not something we’ve ever been interested in, although they’re nice to watch.
A mom and her daughter were having fun feeding the ducks/geese/swans. It was a gorgeous day, sunny, hot, peaceful by the water…
We continued our walk along the water, and crossed a bridge where we saw a lot more ducks and geese swimming aong…like a little army. It was so funny.
Got back home and spent some time out back and in the pool. Aaaaah, the good life.
We vowed to try a different resto and visit a different neighborhood every few weekends. We know Montreal inside and out since we spent a lifetime there – and since we moved to TO almost 2 years ago now, it’s about time we start to familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. 🙂 More adventures to come!
